Piscina Lago
Best known public pool frequented by Gays, the closest pool to Madrid Center.
Take the metro, line 10, and stop at “Lago”.
Price entrance is around 5€ only, get there early or expect long queue to buy the entrance. Entering the 50 square meters pool, go on the left, climb the stairs to the second pool (33 meters).
The unofficial “Gay Spot” is now in front of you! Sure you’ll recognize it.
Water is cold as it the pool is acclimatized. The pool features a “snack” with a nice terrace where you can buy food (don’t miss the “menú del día” at 6€ only for 3 courses!) and drinks of all types (including alcohol) for unbeatable prices!
During summer 2017, the SNACK was closed. Not sure i will re-open in 2018, so be sure to bring your own drinks & food.
The place is very nice with beautiful trees and view over Madrid.
In the middle of the nature, 5 min from city center
Gays are very visible in that public pool. It gets crowded by 16:00. The landscape around is beautiful, go down the metro station to see the “Lago”, a lovely artificial lake with perfect views on Madrid. Sure you’ll take some pictures and selfies here! You’ll find nice bars & restaurant all around the lake.
